QUARANTINE INSPECTION

The Pre-Quarantine inspection (PQI) service is to conduct inspection based on.

Pre-quarantine inspection is an inspection process which ensures and validates that the decontamination of a vehicle has been properly done. This process is supported by verification and certification procedures to ensure that New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (NZ MPI) bio security requirements have been met.

The inspection covers all related used vehicles and vehicle parts: cars, car parts as well as the cargo inside inspected vehicles, tyres on rims.

Note: For New Zealand Requirements - The revised NZMPI Import Health Standard (IHS) implemented on 31 August 2020 for used vehicles and machinery applies (including the agreed contaminant thresholds).

The Import Health Standard has been updated and the certificate is now only provided on request.

Our Quarantine Inspection is accredited ISO17020.
